The University of Bonn is known for its excellent graduate level education in physics and astronomy. Education through research at the highest level is the driving force of our efforts.

As a consequence of increasing international mobility BIGS was founded. BIGS offers a new and transparent structure of graduate level education. Courses at a high academic level, guest lecturers from all over the world, summer schools, and workshops offer a challenging scientific atmosphere. Interested students are most welcome to apply.
